Classic coastal design is reimagined through light, color, and craftsmanship at the Douglas Residence. Designed to frame panoramic bay views, the interiors balance traditional architectural details with a fresh, modern coastal sensibility, shaped by the client’s personal style and way of living. Soft sands, seashell neutrals, crisp whites, and gentle grays form a luminous backdrop, layered with aqua and turquoise tones drawn from the surrounding water. Polished chrome, pearl accents, and reflective surfaces enhance the home’s airy quality, while blonde oak, driftwood notes, and handcrafted ceramics introduce warmth and a sense of individuality. The result is a serene waterfront retreat where classic craftsmanship and modern coastal living come together in a way that feels both timeless and deeply personal.
