Materiality and light define the interior experience at Salty Oak. Nestled beneath century-old oak trees, the interiors unfold in layers of whites, sand, and driftwood tones, punctuated by deep ocean blues and indigo accents. Stacked stone feature walls introduce mass and texture, while smooth plaster, natural oak, and white shiplap establish a cohesive architectural language throughout. Woven lighting, rattan pendants, and linen textiles soften the interiors, as patterned wallcoverings reference the surrounding landscape. Carefully considered lighting transitions—from bright morning light to a warm evening glow—enhance depth and atmosphere, resulting in a calm, refined retreat rooted in its coastal context.
