Sugar Sand Cottage

This project was a labor of creative love. An extensive remodel of an old ranch home, the partial demotion uncovered unexpected ceiling height details and old brick was uncovered in the gable ends of the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom.

Beams were added in the ceiling, carefully spaced to play off the uniqueness of the ceiling angles and pitches. Soft LED lighting was added with a wood beam detail to bring attention to the beautiful old brick.

The custom wood dining table and live edge slab bar were natural spotlights, so a cluster of pendants was designed with random sizes and heights to accent these beautiful pieces.

Tabby shell was used on the complete exterior to bring a warm cottage feel and layers of molding and trim work details were carefully designed to add richness. The combination created a beautiful and elegant grace.
